Earlier this year we had postponed WieTec, which was originally scheduled for June, to late August. The postponement was announced just at the beginning of the pandemic in the rest of the world, and many of our loyal exhibitors hesitated joining the show. The fact that the business travel also came to a halt didn’t help the situation. This state of uncertainty has inspired us to take a step back and reconsider the traditional ways we work with our exhibitors. As a result, we came up with an alternative for our exhibitors who were not able to join the show: this year, along with our offline events, we also offer online business matchmaking and roadshow promotional campaign services.
A roadshow is a touring promotional campaign that includes a series of product presentations given to perspective buyers in a variety of cities. Roadshows give exhibitors the opportunity to present their products and services wherever they want, rather than relying on trade shows at established sites.
Crafted for various industries, the campaign consists of series of supply & demand matchmaking meetings in a variety of cities that help companies meet local end-users at different venues, and promote their products and services in an in-person, interactive format, which will allow them to reach those they may not have been able to reach otherwise.
Based on the data of more than 1 million industry buyers covering the whole country, as well as the cooperation alliance with more than 120 industry associations and more than 300 industry vertical media, WieTec Roadshow will be held in 20 provinces and cities throughout the year. More than 100 supply-demand matchmaking meetings will cover topics related to more than 30 different industries. This promotional campaign will allow participating companies to access target market segments and establish absolute competitive advantages, and boost their annual performance in these challenging times.
The first in the series is Green Building Roadshow, which will take place on October 15 in Hangzhou, followed by Pharmaceutical Industry: Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Roadshow scheduled for October 22 in Shanghai. More details coming soon!
